These days, it’s safe to say we’re all struggling with something and could use the wisdom and connection of others, through shared experiences to help us get started and on our way towards living a more positive and enriched life.

Starting Thursday, February 2, 2023, our goal is to make select Thursdays your new favourite day of the week!  In the beautiful, welcoming, and ethereal environment of the Forrester Centre,  we will come together to listen, engage, and connect with like minded individuals.  Collectively, we will enjoy the weaving together of various topics and conversations with specific industry professionals and those with real life perspectives to share.  As humans, we learn through shared experiences and now, more than ever, we need to connect.

Tartan Door Talk will be fun and interactive, make you laugh or maybe even cry, and even contain moments of reflection and pause.  At the end of each evening, we want you to leave us feeling hopeful, enlightened, inspired, and validated. Not only that, we want you to think of this as a night out with friends connecting in Shannon & Dan's living room.  Come alone and meet new people, or bring a friend.  There's even wine if you're so inclined!  (and other beverage options as well)

With our unconventional approach, support of friends, subject matter experts, industry professionals, and experienced humans like ourselves and others, the goal of Tartan Door Talk is to tackle a variety of adult topics and challenges each of us are facing in our lives and TALK IT OUT! Reserved for only 40 guests per experience, each Tartan Door Talk will present different topics and presenters, so you can follow along on our website for a future Tartan Door Talk that's of interest to you.

Get ready!  We are going to talk it all out with our dear friends and resident Psychologists:  Leanne Tattrie and Lauren Clare Duggan who will join Shannon & Dan for some real and honest adult conversation about our own realities.

Location:  42 Coxheath Road - Main Level

Time:  6:00-9:00pm (Talk is from 6:00-8:00pm, post talk social from:  8:00-9:00pm).  Doors open at 5:45pm

- Light refreshments will be served.

- Cabaret Seating in tables of 4

- Bar will be open for purchase during evening

- Adults 19 & Over

Tickets:  $48.00 plus tax & fees per person.  Minimum number required for each event.  A portion of proceeds from this talk to be donated to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital Foundation - Mental Health & Addiction Services.  Ballot for Door Prizes also provided to each guest in attendance.

At The Forrester Centre, we provide a welcoming, honest, safe, and fun environment to facilitate these experiences.  We will elicit feedback from our guests on future topics so be sure to lay it ALL on us when we ask you this question:  What do you want to talk about?
