Discretely tucked away to the rear of The Forrester Centre is Cape Breton's own private and hidden gem, The Krypt Lounge, located on Coxheath Road in Sydney, Nova Scotia.  Upon entry, guests will discover one of the most unique, elegant, atmospheric, and cozy venues Sydney has to offer, which was built in 1931 and transformed into the premium space its become known for today. 

 

Located on the lower level of The Forrester Centre, The Krypt's 'speakeasy-style' flair and hidden location quickly transports guests to a different world, away from the hustle and bustle of every day life.

Filled with so much history and original character, The Krypt is well known for offering creative cocktails and a light 'Appas & Tapas' menu during their unique ticketed experiences - and more elaborate multi-course offerings for weddings, anniversaries, and corporate experiences.  

 

Given that the venue specializes in private and ticketed experiences, and does not maintain regular hours of operation, guests interested in taking in the offerings and amenities of The Krypt should visit our 'events' tab to view up and coming experiences.
